WE
STILL HAVE LOTS OF FAMILIES THAT ARE IN NEED OF A VOLUNTEER SO IF YOU
THINK YOU KNOW SOMEONE THAT COULD GIVE 2-3 HOURS A WEEK, TELL THEM TO
GET IN TOUCH AND FIND OUT ALL ABOUT THE COURSE.
All current volunteers welcome. Come along for an opportunity to get together with other volunteers, receive updated information, discuss concerns, spread good news and maybe hear from guest speakers. These are your coffee mornings so please let us know what you would like to see happening at them. We have booked dates through to the end of 2011 at different times of the day and on different days of the week to try and suit as many volunteers as possible. Dates booked are:
WEDNESDAY 14th September: 9.30 - 10.30
THURSDAY 13th October: 9.30 - 10.30
TUESDAY 15th Novemebr: 6.00pm - 7.00pm
TUESDAY 13th December: 9.30 - 10.30
No need to book - just come and join us when you
are able.
All sessions are held here at our offices, The Haven, 17 Lake Road.

PICNIC:

PAULTONS PARK 2011
A massive THANK YOU!!!
once again to the relentless work of our fundraising group, The Friends
of Home-Start, for the efforts they have put in all year to make this
year's trip to Paultons a fantstic day to remember for everyone. The
money that is raised by them throughout the year is all put towards the
summer outing and the Christmas party - we really couldn't do these
'extras' without the money that they raise.
The families (and staff and volunteers!) all had a wonderful day, the weather was kind and there were lots of closed eyes on the return coach trip. Can you spot yourself amongst the pics below?!
